Creation of Soprima
Soprima Industrie was created to offer manufacturers high-performance bonding and sealing solutions.
Beginning of dry thread brake
At the request of automotive manufacturers, Soprima is developing processes for depositing microencapsulated adhesives. Braking is then achieved by pre-application to the thread.
Assembly sealing
We are developing the pre-coating sealing function, which will become a recognized speciality of our company. It is applied to pneumatic fittings, all valves and other parts: screws, studs, sensors, etc.
Pre-coating of smooth parts
Soprima Industrie launches into pre-coating of smooth parts. Our first customers were automotive equipment manufacturers, for whom we produced seals and bonded press-fitted tubes.
